Sustainable Oceans: Improving sustainable economic growth and development opportunities through efficient and sustainable use of human rights-centric fisheries resources in Bangladesh

MJF started implementing a three-year research and dialogue project named “Sustainable Oceans: Improving sustainable economic growth and development opportunities through efficient and sustainable use of human rights-centric fisheries resources in Bangladesh”. Supported by the Danish Institute for Human Rights (DIHR), the project aims to develop good practice, tools and guidance to identify, address and monitor the human rights implications and impacts of the fisheries and aquaculture sectors. Another aim will be to disseminate and discuss these findings with key actors nationally and internationally, within the fields of sustainable development and responsible business and human rights, particularly in relation to Sustainable Development Goal 14 on Oceans.
